How We Will Work Together

Counselling can feel daunting, the concept of confiding in someone that you don't already know can feel strange and at odds.   I provide a safe supportive space where hopefully you will feel at ease and able to speak openly.

I will listen carefully to you.  I work with immediacy and I will draw on your words, emotions and body language.  You can learn a lot about yourself when you give yourself the space and time to reflect.

I will support you as we explore the issues that have been difficult for you to deal with.  Your experiences, values and beliefs are unique, together we will find a way forward that is right for you.  I believe there is never one approach that fits all and I will tailor the counselling to your needs.

Stone Balancing

Finding Peace & Restoring Balance

I offer a free 20-30 minute consultation, where we will talk about what has brought you to counselling.  The consultation will also give you the opportunity to see if the counselling service that I provide feels right for you.

Should you wish to go ahead we will have weekly, 60 minute counselling sessions.  I recommend weekly sessions, however this can be discussed and tailored to meet your needs.  Some clients prefer fortnightly sessions and some clients will opt for less frequent sessions as they draw to an end.
