My Belief in Counselling....
There are moments in life where we are unable to find a way forward, we can lose sight of who we are, our needs and what’s important to us. We can struggle to find comfort or enthusiasm in what would normally give us joy and happiness. At times our experiences can be emotionally and mentally overwhelming, trying to find resolution can feel impossible. Life can feel overshadowed by uncertainty and fear.
I believe counselling can be a place to explore and understand how you engage and interact with the world around you. Counselling can be a place to explore experiences, relationships, values, emotions, fears and loss.
Counselling, for me, is about giving yourself the time and space to find a way forward, whether its through developing self-belief, resolution, action or acceptances. Ultimately, I believe the process can be empowering and create better awareness of self, purpose and needs.
